Which New Moon?

YAHWEH'S SACRED CALENDAR IS DETERMINED FROM JERUSALEM, NOT FROM NEW YORK, NOT FROM JOHANNESBURG, NOT FROM DALLAS, NOT FROM BEJING, NOT FROM SEATTLE, NOT FROM SACRAMENTO, NOT FROM ANY OTHER PLACE… JUST JERUSALEM!
Which includes the new moons and feasts of Yahweh!
2 Chronicles 31:3 He appointed also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths,
and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of YAHWEH.
Where determines When!
Everyone will come to worship YAHWEH…!
Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith YAHWEH.
And they will go to where He is…Jerusalem, because that is where the New Moons and the Feasts of YAHWEH are determined from!
Zechariah 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, YAHWEH of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth
unto Jerusalem to worship the King, YAHWEH of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.There is no controversy here. YAHWEH says everyone will come to Jerusalem to worship Him, which also means WHEN to worship Him. It doesn't matter if a new moon is seen or not seen in South Africa, or South America, Australia, New Zealand, Missouri, Texas, or Southern California…because
YAHWEH SAYS THAT HE IS WORSHIPPED AT JERUSALEM, AND THAT THE NEW MOONS ARE SET FROM JERUSALEM. There can be only one calendar, only one set of Feast Days!But some wants to be holier than thou…so they want to set their calendar from their location…instead of according to YAHWEH'S word!
Human reasoning conjectures a myriad of what ifs. So let me nip this red herring right now.
There are hundreds of years of experience that reveal that a new moon may be seen under ideal conditions if it is older than 18 hours and its illumination is greater than 1.5%.
Where on earth Moon Sighting is possible after new moon? Visibility of the New Crescent Moon is calculated using the criterion, developed by Khalid Shaukat, of Moonsighting Committee Worldwide (MCW). This criterion makes use of several thousand authentic observations, collected over a period of 150 years in different locations of the world. In addition, there is no reason to not know precisely when the new moon occurs in Jerusalem, because there are observers that post their sightings on the internet for all to see.
Confusion, or "controversy" as it is euphemistically put, produces evil!
James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
This also shows up in setting the calendar by Passover instead of the 1st New Moon OF the Year.
When Passover is first determined in relation to the beginning of the year (the Spring Equinox) to see how close Passover is to the Equinox, then determining which New Moon will be used based on Passover's nearness to the Equinox, you aren't following YAHWEH'S CALENDAR! THAT IS NOT ACCORDING TO YAHWEH'S LAW!
Over the years I've heard over and over that "we don't use the Equinox to determine Abib". That hogwash! If you use the Equinox to determine Passover, then set Abib by that, you are setting Abib by the Equinox, and I challenge anyone to prove otherwise. Where in the scriptures do you see that you determine Passover FIRST, then decide WHICH new moon is Abib?
If you aren't upset at me, then let me try harder!
The SUN determines days and years. It has two circuits, the smaller circuit that separates day from night, and the greater circuit that creates years.
It isn't rocket science to understand that the first month OF the year doesn't alternate between spring which occurs at the beginning of the year and winter which occurs at the end of the year. The first month OF the year can't occur in winter before the previous year ends. It must always be the first new moon OF the year, in the Spring, which begins and ends on the Spring Equinox.
One SUN circuit (i.e. a "year") is from Spring Equinox to Spring Equinox. It isn't complicated! You can't have a new moon before its conjunction, and you can't begin a new year before the old year has ended.
Can there be TWO Abibs in the same year, one in the Spring and then one in the Winter before the year ends…and then NO Abib in the following year, i.e. between Spring Equinoxes? That is what happens every time when Abib is placed in winter before the year ends, before the Spring Equinox! What stupidity!
For those who insist that there must be barley in the spring, let me point out that the seasons in the southern hemisphere are reversed, Spring is in September/October and Fall is in April. If the barley harvest is in September/October, you would be obligated to maintain a calendar exactly the opposite of the northern hemisphere!
In addition going solely by the barley harvest, there is the possibility of massive drought and total crop failure, which would mean no Abib, and no Passover, Unleavened Bread and no Pentecost for an entire year or even several years, until the barley grew! If it could grow, because there are some regions where no barley grows! No barley equals no Abib!
There must be a uniform measurement by which YAHWEH requires all nations to come to Him to worship at the same time. This is why YAHWEH uses the Sun to determine what a year is, the first new moon OF the year as Abib, and has made Jerusalem the focal point for setting His sacred times.
The unconverted usually claim they will keep YAHWEH'S Law when He comes and tells them they have to change, but until then they will do what they feel is right for them. That is exactly the same unconverted attitude of those that claim they will change the way they observe YAHWEH'S Holy Days when He returns and forces them to!
I'm outraged that this has gone on so long, and that no one has the intestinal fortitude to admit that Yahweh rules from Jerusalem and His calendar is set from where He rules!
YAHWEH'S Calendar is Jerusalem centric, and can only be Jerusalem centric to provide worldwide uniformity in biblical Holy Day observance.
